"My knee hurts and won't get better."

"Has anyone looked at your other leg?"

When a client arrives suffering recurrent one sided hip, knee or ankle pain; despite various interventions and treatments, one of the things we do is look at weight distribution. Is there anything stopping them from putting weight on to the other leg?

We measure this by utilising a 'Poor Mans Foot Scan', by using Perturbation and by observing gait.

We then see if there is any injury history which is keeping the individual from loading that other leg.

If we can get even weight distribution between the legs we have much greater chance of a successful treatment of the original complaint.
